This option does not include return or side pieces for the valance, as the valance is a flat cut rather than a mitered or 45-degree angle cut. Consequently, the return side pieces will not fit or attach to the flat cut valance. For this mounting option, your window frame must have a minimum depth of 3 1/8 inches.

To accommodate the mounting brackets and allow for proper movement of the blinds within the window frame, our team will deduct 1/2 inch from the width you order. For example, if you order blinds that are 34 inches wide, they will arrive measuring 33 1/2 inches wide.

When measuring for your new blinds, please keep the following guidelines in mind: 1. A flat mounting depth of at least 3 1/8 inches inside your window frame is necessary for a fully flush installation. 2. Measure the width in three places: top, middle, and bottom. Use the narrowest of these measurements when placing your order. 3. Round down to the nearest 1/2 inch when selecting the width size. 4. Remember that your blinds will arrive with a 1/2 inch deduction. So, if you choose a width of 34 1/2 inches, the final blinds will measure 34 inches wide.
